New Recipes & My Current Supplement Regime

I haven't been taking food pics all of the time but I did for a few new meals we've recently made and I really want to get back to sharing food pics and recipes more often:

You may remember that a tumor was found on my optic nerve in my eye/brain and I started a regime of 12 servings of vegetables and fruit and the tumor was smaller on the next scan.  Well, I haven't been as diligent with my veg/fruit servings and I'm hoping the scan this week doesn't show a growth.  It's hard to eat that many vegetables and fruits every day!  Here's some pics of how I've been getting the servings in:

One way I managed to do it was smoothies, which I don't necessarily enjoy in the winter but I can get 3-4 servings down in one go that way and eat the rest throughout the day.    My favorite smoothie has been (from bottom up in the Ninja pictured above top left): kale, carrots, (green) apple, blueberries (or strawberries) with 1/4 cup water and the rest unsweetened soymilk for a smooth finish.

I absolutely love these Oatmeal Banana Carrot Muffins:

I can put a good amount of vegetables in an omelet, with a muffin and a side of 100% organic OJ it makes a great breakfast:

These are what I take on a daily basis with breakfast, except the B-Right, which I take when I have stress to replenish what was lost.  I took most of these before the attack but added in more milligrams of ALA and new to me is the NAC, all to help my vision heal.  I've had my vision heal dramatically and my prescription has dropped lower already.

I also take calcium with lunch, a multivitamin with dinner and magnesium with my 4th meal before bed.  I have some heart supplements but because of side effects I had to stop those.  I also take ashwagandha tincture or tea to help with stress, kava tea for tension and turmeric/ginger tea for inflammation that may happen and L-lysine whenever I feel I need it.  After my weight workouts, I take an organic plant-based protein powder that has BCAA's, probiotics and glutamine and nothing compares to helping me with post-recovery and soreness!  I also like that I get the probiotics in without having to take a another pill.
