In today's modern Christian church, many are told they can just ignore the Bible because nobody's perfect. These false teachers and preachers are never short of those that are seeking such lies. We can look back on the Jewish people and see how it wasn't just that they couldn't keep the law in perfection, it was more so that they WALKED CONTRARY to what God said to do! They literally forsook God's law and openly rebelled against it. Such is happening today in the Christian church. We can look around everywhere and see those that claim Christ walking contrary to what the Bible told us to do. They aren't striving to obey God's Word, they willfully REBEL against it by doing the exact opposite!
Let me give some concrete examples. God has told women to have long hair, today's modern Christian woman cuts it short, exact opposite in open rebellion. God has told married women to be keepers at home, today's modern Christian woman instead has a career and forsakes her home, exact opposite in open rebellion. God says we are to be modest and as women that becometh holiness, today's modern Christian woman dresses sexy and shows her body off indecently, exact opposite in open rebellion. God has clearly instructed that only men are to pastor and preach in a public assembly, today's modern Christian woman not only preaches in a public assembly but she's now THE PASTOR, exact opposite in open rebellion!
Those that REBEL against what God said are willfully walking contrary and forsaking what God said. They're also usually the same people who say anyone who wants to obey God's Word and walk therein, are Pharisees. No, Pharisees were religious leaders who loved to be seen and hid all kinds of sins and things that wouldn't look so great in the public eye. They made a lie by making themselves look perfect as if they had no faults, weaknesses, sickness or anything else they deemed to hide to portray such perfection. A Christian striving to live right is not a Pharisee - they are resisting to walk contrary to what God said to do. There is no comparison.
Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
God warned many times in the New Testament to BE NOT DECEIVED! Don't think you can walk contrary, rebel against what God said by doing the opposite, and think you will enter in. These are people that set out to rebel, they strive to oppose what God said - they aren't striving to follow His Word. Don't be deceived and stay away from those that do such things. They'll say they have the Spirit of God but the Spirit of God doesn't openly rebel against God's Word and walk contrary! They lie!
Titus 1:16
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
It is time women, to take a look at yourself and examine yourselves whether you truly are in the faith. If you seek to do the opposite of what God said, you are in open rebellion and walking contrary to God. Repent and make it right and strive to be in obedience. We have way more than those in Old Testament times had - we have the born-again experience AND the gift of the Holy Spirit living in us! We are more than able to resist if we walk in the Spirit! God said we would do all that Jesus did and MORE - where is that and more?
John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
How come you are believing false preachers and living in open rebellion? We have the power to live above sin and we also have an advocate with Jesus if we do sin, so we can repent and be made right again. To live in sin is a whole other thing and you won't enter in God said. It's time to quit playing opposites!
